Inside Sales Professional
Responsible for validating and qualifying all inbound request and suspects and prospecting and identifying sales opportunities and growing business for sales representatives in the branch locations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uncover, identify and qualify prospects and sales opportunities in targeted sales markets using the internet and other external resources
- Identify characteristics of suspects and record all relevant information and accurately maintain records in database of all phases of prospecting activities into CRM system
- Work closely with sales team to ensure opportunities are clearly understood and acted upon
- Manage small accounts under certain $ value for periodical service calls, new product introductions, and prospecting current small customers for additional business
- Qualify the opportunities from inbound contacts to determine if there is fit with Purolator product offerings
- Collaborate with Marketing on qualifying prospects methodology
- Learn and understand Purolator sales process and ensure sales compliance
- Additional responsibilities as identified by management.
Ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum 3-5 years of cold calling experience with a proven track record of successfully building customer base
- Attention to detail and strong follow up skills
- Must be self-motivate, proactive, and have a high-energetic approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Proficient in MS Office and good presentation skills
- Excellent phone inflection, tone and level of professionalism with superior listening skills
